From our experience, a subscription of 3 days per week of homework guidance provides an effective balance between control and autonomy. By spreading these days throughout the week, we have regular control moments and act as a support system.

In most cases, this can start almost immediately, provided there is availability. We first like to schedule an introductory meeting with parents and the student to understand the support needs and arrange the days. After this, you can start quickly.

We have extensive experience in guiding students with a variety of learning difficulties. During the introductory meeting, the branch manager discusses the points of attention for guidance and ensures, together with the tutors, that the student receives the right help that meets their learning needs.
We are happy to think along with how we can help with concentration, learning to learn, planning, etc.

When multiple children from one family are simultaneously enrolled in homework guidance at De Wilde Huiswerkbegeleiding, you receive a 15% discount on the fee for the 2nd and subsequent children. This discount only applies to homework guidance. The full rate applies to the child with the highest fee.

At the start, there is a trial period of 4 weeks. If the supervision does not meet expectations, it will be terminated free of charge. Any paid invoice will be refunded immediately.

Exception to the trial period:
There is no trial period during the last 6 weeks before the student’s final lessons (end of school year or exam period).

You are always welcome for a non-binding introductory meeting!

The student may stay as long as needed between 13.00 and 18.30. We encourage making at least 1 hour, but most students stay on average 2 – 2.5 hours per afternoon.

Additional days can be added immediately (subject to availability). Reducing to fewer days requires a 4-week notice period. This is due to our scheduling and staffing.

Changes to the subscription can be arranged with the branch manager via WhatsApp or email.

We have a notice period of 4 weeks, starting from the next Monday.

Example:
If you cancel on Thursday of week 3, then week 4 counts as the first week. Week 7 would be the last week of supervision in this case.

Cancellation can be done by notifying the branch manager via WhatsApp or email.

There is no single answer to this and it varies for each student. While some may follow supervision for a few months as a good start to the school year, others may stay the entire school year or even longer because it helps them and provides peace of mind.

We also frequently see students start with us in the first year of secondary school, then stop, and return later for additional support.

Our goal is always to work towards the students’ independence so that they can handle their schoolwork on their own.

Parents are given access to Class Dojo, the student tracking system we use. Here, daily updates are provided about how the homework guidance is going. Items such as the planning agenda, explanations, completed homework, and quizzes can be reviewed here.

Additionally, branch managers also prefer short lines of communication and maintain contact via WhatsApp for important matters.

How to log in to Class Dojo is explained in the video below.

A non-binding trial day and/or introductory meeting can always be scheduled through the branch manager.
This person can also contact us directly via our website to sign up.

Our homework guidance is designed for secondary school students. However, we are always happy to consider any assistance requests from primary school students.
Occasionally, we have primary school students who follow tutoring with us.
From the projects we run in primary schools, we have the knowledge and experience to provide help to this age group as well.
