I am in HAVO 4 at Odulphus and have now been with Wilde Huiswerkbegeleiding for a few days. The guidance is very nice, you get a lot of explanation when you ask for it, but also when they think it is useful. I can concentrate very well, nice layout of tables and it is always quiet. I am also not expected to work for 3/4 hours straight. I’m really glad I started trying this!
The personal attention and guidance was great from the first contact. We as parents are always kept informed. What I like about homework guidance is that you get good help if you have any questions. And also that once I’m done with my homework/learning, I don’t have to do anything at home for school. Because I have more concentration there than at home. So I perform a lot more for school. That’s why I’m certainly very satisfied with it.

Our son received negative study advice and had to catch up in 3 months. He had no experience with languages such as French and German. They are willing to think about the specific needs of the child and are able to adjust not only the child, but also themselves where necessary in order to provide optimal help. Aart and his employees are open to feedback and always do something with it. When our children started there was a bit of a messy period, which meant that things sometimes went wrong and grumbling was necessary every now and then; that now seems resolved and under control.

The need was great. My son was about to take his exam and he didn’t know how to approach it. He was now so used to his own way of working, which turned out not to be good, that it was difficult to change this. He went to homework help for a few months. Because there was someone constantly around to ask questions, but also to question him critically, he has learned to focus more and better on his school work. I am very happy with the guidance from De Wilde HWB. I attend Heerbeeck College in Best and drive back and forth to Tilburg every week for extra support. Our daughter is having a hard time in the subjects of mathematics and economics in 4 HAVO. The extra lessons she has been taking at De Wilde since this school year have ensured that she is enjoying it again. The teachers are very patient and can explain well. Only when she really understands will they continue. That’s different at school… Self-confidence also grows as a result. The flexibility in the planning of the lessons is very nice: an extra lesson – in addition to the fixed appointments – can always be planned if, for example, a test (week) is coming up.
